GPS-tracking

GPS-tracking

GPS tracking makes orientation more public-friendly. You can easily visualize where the individual runner has run through his trail. It makes it more exciting for the public, but is also an important aid for developing the orientation skills of the individual runner. GPS tracking will be shown live on the arena. In addition, GPS tracking will be available at https://loggator.com/recent_events after each run.

We have 60 units for GPS tracking. These will be used on the classes included in Youth Cup as follows:

It is optional to run with GPS transmitters for D/H 13-14 and D/H 15-16. Those who do not want to run with GPS should notify the organizer of this as early as possible so that we can offer the service to others.

For D/H 13-14 and D/H 15-16: Basically, the 60 units will be divided by 30 in each class on each day. If there are more than 30 starting in the class, the units will be distributed to the 30 last starting persons in the class. If there are less than 30 participants in one class, more than 30 in the second class will run with a GPS device.

In the pursuit competition race, it will be the 10 best / first in each of the 6 classes who will be running with the GPS device.

For D/H 17-20: Basically, the 60 units will be divided by 30 in each class on each day. These 30 units are distributed to the top 10 (total time after day 1 and day 2) and the 20 last starting in the class (which are not included among the 10 with the best total time). If there are less than 30 participants in one class, more than 30 in the second class will run with a GPS device.
